I'm very sorry for your loss as well, my family is very active with mini-schnauzer rescue and we currently have 2 little rescues and I couldn't imagine what we would do if we lost either of them.
Try and think about what a good life you gave your dog, it helped me when i lost my first dog

Saddened to read of your loss, Holger. Prolonged the petting sessions with our 10-year old Goldens thinking of your post. God bless you for providing a warm and loving home to Moby and your other Greys for as long as you could.

We became so involved with greyhound rescue years ago that we didn't realize how many 'rescue' associations exist for other breeds. If you have a website or something for your organization, maybe I can do a few things for them that we have done for greyhounds.
