Were there plain edge Spurs?

Hi Roger,
I'm not sure if the full size Spurs came with a plain edge but I have a small Spur that came with a plain edge.

Just a sec fellas. The Spur is the Spur. Don' t know of a "small" one. There are the original Hunters (plain edge), then the Pro- Venators. And the long discontinued Executive. All with steel handles with the Pro Venator and Spur with rubber inserts. Is there a mix up here?

Probably, the one I remember is small but I only remember seeing part serrated. Now I am questioning my rembrance of the knife but it was small.

The only
Spur I have seen is the one that I have been carrying for the past few years. It is a smaller version of the Pro-Venator with steel handle and Kraton inserts. It's a 50/50 combo edge. Also, discontinued.

Take a peek at the current Pro- Venator. The original Spur was a bit "smaller". They both have rubber inserts in the non clip side frame, on the outside and underneath their pocket clips. Both are very nice working knives but I' ve never seen a plain edge in either model.

Well fellas, maybe Sal will chide in here. I CAN tell you I have a Spur with a PLAIN edge. I purchased it several years ago. Maybe I have a factory "mistake" but mine IS plain edged.
I could be wrong about a large version but I could swear there WAS a large model. I will admit though, I could be thinking of the later "Pro-Ventor" because they are similar.
