save your money and just enjoy what ya got. thats what id do.

Maybe it’s time to save and go up market a bit?

What you don’t have though is a 3ish inch EDC fixed blade, a knife where I slot my Nyala

I jumped up to midtechs etc. 150 knives sold or traded later.. and honestly my current favorite EDC is an coyote brown endura 4.

Sometimes journeys will lead you full circle back to where you began!

I always suggest a user sebenza and a user Sacha Thiel Officer. 2 very nice knives!

Have a look at Kizer. They're doing good things. Maybe a Benchmade, because you don't have one yet. I usually suggest some incarnation of the Presidio or Barrage.

I've taken a liking to Italian knives, lately, because they're a little unusual. I suggest them to other people, for the same reason. Lionsteel or Fox, depending on your taste.

Boker is all over the map, but they do some good stuff at the "nice" end of the spectrum. I like the lines of their Zinker collabs.

If you use your knives please do yourself a favor and buy a Spyderco Stretch. It’s not the most attractive knife but good god it’s slicey, and super functional. I have done everything with it from slice a bag of chips open to field dress and quarter a wild hog with it. You will love it.

For $200, there are a ton of nice blades available. And around $240-$250, it blows even wider with some really nice blades from really good designers. My first choice usually leans to ZT. But also love WE, Kizer, Spyderco, and yes, even the Massdrop colabs (mostly made by WE, but not all). Sorry no mention of specific models as there are just too many I like from these brands for different reasons.

A Case Trapper and an ESEE 3,4 or 5.

I just started getting into traditional folders and there are a ton of great knives out there for $30-50.
