Anyone Going?

It is a small one day show...about a two hour drive for me and $30 a table in advance.

I am thinking about buying a table.

Waddaya think?

Looks cool from the link... $30 seems pretty cheap for a table and gas is almost reasonable again, I'd say go for it.

DUMB question... do shows generally provide the actual tables or do you need your own?

they provide tables and chairs...at least the ones I have been to
 
OK, so figure $100 for the table and gasoline and lunch... I'm sure you can cover that in sales real quick, you got some cool stuff... and who knows who you might meet? You could get some orders to keep you busy, and see/meet some good knives/makers...

Honestly, that's cheaper than a night on the town, and might actually bring you business. The worst that can happen is yer bored out your skull, bring a book.
 
Thanks. That was my same chain of thought. In fact I am working up some stuff for a guy who is quite nearby there. I have been wanting to meet him anyhow, so instead of shipping to him I will ask to meet him there...kinda like a guaranteed sale :thumbup:

Instead of him paying for shipping he can pay to get into the show.
 
In fact, there is a Spanish Tapas Restaurant in Grand Rapids that I am missing...if I could sell enough to earn dinner there I'd be tickled pink
