First question is which clear coat from system 3 do you use for wrap? There is the clear laminating resin and then the silver tip but that seems to be a fast set. Is there another? Second is do you like it over west 105/207? Is one better than the other with different wrap material? Last question is if you use a wood backer with hemp or cotton will these more viscous expoxies soak a good bit into the wood to harden and seal it? I want thin strips of backers with exposed ends.

System 3 Clear Coat Laminating Resin is what i use. It is not a viscous epoxy, it's the thinnest epoxy product I've ever used. Whether it will soak into your wood depends more on the wood, how dry and how tightly grained it is but yes, that product will to a certain extent.

Sorry I ment less viscous. Thanks for the response! Have been wanting to give a wrapped handle a try for a while.
