can some body tell me how to post a pic with out being so big

I would look at my camera's manual, in mine, it has different settings that I use to control my picture size. Also use a photo program to change the size before you save it to your file. Hope that helps. Preston

Edited to add: that knife is wonderful, blade pattern fantanstic. P

Dickie, that is one awesome bowie! Love that damascus pattern. Well done!

Dickie, thank you very much for posting the photo of that great looking knife. That is stunning pattern welded steel.

Dickie, would it be possible for you to give us a bit of a description of this knife? You know, dimensions, number of layers, types of steel used.

Also, please spend more time here. I want to see more of your knives and here from you about subjects like the cutting contests that you do so well in.

the steel is 1084 and 15n20 with a 18x24 layer w pattern, which means 18 flat and 24 layers turned on edge. then draw out 1/2 inch thick then patterned under dies and press. then profiled and ground to shape insted of forging to shape. this pattern also looks great with random pattern steel also.

Dickie,
Great looking Bowie you have there! Love the new pattern you developed.
Lots of shimmer in that baby. Beautiful stag handle also. Keep up the good work! S.Dunn
