and anyone else so inclined- may wish to *informally affiliate with others in a newly created "social group" here on the forums.

I know there are quite a few Free-ranging Mountaineers around, so this might be a good way to take stock of potential interest in meet & greets and the like.

*I used "informally affiliate" rather than "organize" just in case there might be any Pinkertons skulking about. ;)

I would like to try to meet some WV members could use a litle direction on some good freestyle camping areas. I live in Salem which is near Clarksburg.

I'm not in West Virginia these days but I was born and raised there. Keyser, county seat of mineral county, eastern panhandle. Grew up 30 yards from the Potomac River on the border of McCoole Maryland. My whole family still all live in and around there. Even my son is living there now. I figure one day I'll end up back that way but right now we're settled in Oklahoma.

Anyway, count me in if you open a group for Mountaineers.

Done did. :D

To find "our" group, just click on your User CP in the upper left menu bar- look under the Networking header and click on Social Groups, which should be the second choice down.

A list of all the groups already formed on BF will appear, and ours should be easy to find. In fact, recognizing it is the only qualification for membership. ;)

Come on in and Welcome! :)
