wester style alive or dead

Here are a couple, the only two western style sheaths I have made, what do you think is the style alive or dead. The reason I ask is I have not seen many and not sure if it is worth the time and effort. What do you think?

First nice work. I don't think it's dead, in fact it's quite alive, there are not many sheathmakers doing it that post here and some of the other knife sites.The best one I have seen do it is my mentor and friend Sandy Morrissey with very classic carving.I have done some but have a long way to go.Chuck Burrows and Kenny Rowe come to mind as well.Dave:)

That sheath is a great job, thank you for posting the picture. That also help to see what it should look like.
