Hey all,I've got a few old users ready for belt/pocket time.
First up is a Western L36 with their patented split tang handle.Leather stacked with black, white & brown spacers and brass guard.
Handle is solid with no looseness whatsoever.
Blade is full with light patina spots throughout, good edge,no damage,no sharpening scratches, just light sheathing marks & the patina spots.
Tang stamped...
WESTERN
BOULDER,COLO.
PAT'D MADE IN USA
Pictured sheath included.
$40.00 shipped.
Next is a Western 2 blade Jack with some fine honey bone covers.
It has been carried & used with the patina & marks of a user.
There is no model number on either blade & the main is marked..
WESTERN
BOULDER
COLO.
There is a chip in the bone near the butt end bolster & a center pin crack, both on the pile side,(see last 3 pics)but nothing major. My thumb nail doesn't catch on 'em & I can't feel them when I rub my calloused fingers over 'em.
Good walk & talk with no half stops.
$25.00 shipped Sold
Next is a Schrade Walden 899 Stockman w/punch.
Tang stamp on the main blade mark side..
Schrade
Walden
NY USA
And on the pile side of the main is the model #..
899.
This guy has been carried & has plenty of patina & wear marks to show it,but it is still solid with mostly full blades.
I did have to take a chip out of the spey blade so it is a bit slimmer towards the tip than most speys.
The spring for the spey & punch blades is good, but the main is weaker, it still closes under it's own spring power with a good snap though, just weaker than the other one.
$25.00 shipped.
It looks like a crack at the center pin in the darker cover in the below pic, but looking at it with a magnifying glass it appears to be just a scratch & doesn't go all the way in to the pin.
Next is a Schrade USA 36OT stockman with punch.IIRC they only made the 36OT for 2 years.
Green delrin covers with brass bolsters & shield.
The shield is marked GREENWING.
The tang stamp on the main is..
Schrade
USA 36OT
As you can see in the tang stamp pic(#3) there is a very noticeable spot of pitting on the main that looks like a drop of something landed on it & was never whipped off.It was rusty when I got it so I took a wire brush to it & it is fine now, just looks funky.
Edit to add after talking to Codger_64, he tells me it was made for the Junior members of Ducks Unlimited which are called Green Wings.
"This was a SFO "event enhancement" knife offered to DU members for their kids during fundraisers. Nice little knife! Not rare, but fairly uncommon."
(thanks again Michael :thumbup
$25.00 shipped. Sold
And last (for now) is my Ebony covered 06 Pemberton.# 13 of 25 PPPs in Ebony.Birth date is 2/5/2013.
I have carried it some so it has a few marks, but all the etches are still there.
I knocked down all the sharp edges on the spine & tang to make it more pocket friendly also.
Only used to cut some hard salami once.
Tube & cert. included.
$60.00 shipped. Sold
