Western NY gathering offical date post

The official dates for the Western NY gathering are August 15-16. Bring the family, friends, knives, bows, sling shots, air guns, fishing gear, and of course your survival gear. My wife is having Aortic by-pass surgery July 1st so I had to move it to later in the summer. I hope many of you can attend. Sorry I should have put in the location as well. It is in Perry NY about an hour south west of Rochester and about an hour south east of Buffalo.
 
Letchworth is just about 5 miles away. We are having it on private land so we can do pretty much what we want to do. The park is a great place to go with all the trails and that 17 mile gorge. If anybody gets here Friday night there is stock car races less then 1/2 mile from the area and Saturday night there is 1/4 mile drag racing with in 10 miles so lot to do in the area. Doug

I was following this when it started, now I feel kind of out of the loop here. Is there a single thread with time, date, location, directions, etc? Thanks!
 
I'm seeing phish in Buffalo on the 13th, if I can I might try to stick around and hang out with you guys. I'm very doubtful that I could swing the time away from work, but I'll have a better idea closer to the time.

Sounds good so far. I know the area roughly, I spent 4 years installing dock in Silver lake,yuk.
 
Josh the gathering is actually at the north end of the lake pretty much. If you know where the race track is you are about a stones throw from it. Doug
 
the lone gunman I cant wait till we get to do this. It should be a lot of fun. Doug
 
2 months to go till it happens. Lets hope we have a good turn out. You never know this could be a yearly thing if all goes well. Doug
