Hi there!

I was wondering if somebody might be able to dig up a little history on an old pocket knife that belongs to my wife. Her father gave to her, which she used throughout college at SUNY ESF. A picture of it is enclosed. The main blade says WESTERN U.S.A. on one side, and S-901 STAINLESS on the other. I believe that it predates the Camillus' Westerns. I must say, this baby is quite stainless. It's been through her college years, as well as 5 years of trout fishing.

I happened to be going through all of our trout fishing gear tonight, cleaning and oil various items. We broke out the old Western and decided to save it away for our kid some day. She'd always wanted a Camillus brand knife, so I ordered her up a nice YellowJacket CAM-714Y.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
