Paul that’s a great looking knife! Ricky seems to have a nose for finding good, vintage micarta, and he really knows how to make the most of it.

You saw right. @Jfowl31 special: a “deanciented” tc with a stainless blade from another 15 and Westinghouse micarta covers. It’s a beautiful Frankenstein’s creation.

It’s been awhile since this thread surfaced so I thought I’d put something up. Kyle Hanson comes from a famous knife making family (his father is Don Hanson III) and it shows. This fixed blade hunter has vintage butterscotch Westinghouse micarta, a sweetly tapered tang, and some fantastic Hanson Damascus.
