Wet forming sheath for Nessmuk style knife?

I want to wet form and wax two leather sheaths. One being for a Nessmuk style blade, the other a recurve. I have my own system and have done it to various knives of mine. But I haven't down this to a sheath on a unique blade style. Is it feasible, and affect the drawing out the knife?
