If I actually thought that I was THE first person to think of this idea with leather (what are the odds?), I'd post another thread because I am curious, and not so senstive as to maybe miss out on funny! Since I already posted this here, and you are unsure as to possible offensiveness, hit me with an email if ya want. :) jcamuse (at) comcast.net

Thx,
Jaxx:cool:

pretty easy. run hot water over the sheath, insert knife to desired position, and i used a sharpie cap to do the shaping and smoothing. let dry.

i didnt wrap mine, and there was no bleeding from the leather. but you could use saran type wrap i guess.

This is the thread where I first read about molding/ boning sheaths, but I did find Guyon's thread that (No chuckling now! ) was called, 'Help Me With My Boning'. :D It was full of info/ links.

P.S. Oh, yeah... I used scotch tape, LOL, but plastic wrap will work nicely. (would've if I had remembered to get some @ the market! LOL) Any adhesive residue left by scotch tape can be 'lifted' simply by placing a fresh piece over the affected area and pulling up repeatedly until all is stuck to that piece of tape. I wouldn't try a more adhesive type of tape. Stick to the plastic wrap, it was my first thought.

Nope, never got it. Check to see if ya used '.net', it's usually where I go wrong! Spam filter should not block at least to junk box... nuttin' there either.

Please try again! :)

My bad,
major malfunction with the cut and past, all I ended up with was some quotation marks, and my mailer hasn't notified me of unsendable mail so I didn't think there was a prob.

Try
