Just wondering what anyone may have to say about the Wetterling line of axes and hatchets. Just seen them at the Ragweed Forge site and was curious. Maybe the "Search" function will be going again soon and I can check that too.

You may be able to manually scroll back through the threads in this forum and find Cliff Stamp's extensive work with a Wetterling. With enough re-profiling, he got it to perform quite well. If you are short on cash or want to do it for fun, you could end up with a good axe. Unfortunately, I think the sheaths are pretty poor.
 
Thanks guys. Now that the search function is working again, I found the previous reviews. Guess you get what you pay for.
