What’s up bf, I am new to the forum and just wanted to take an opportunity to share my collection if anyone cares. I’ve always liked and had knives over the years, but a little over a year ago I walked into a knife shop in Maine (I live in NY) and was mesmerized with the selection and quality of knives they had to offer. Until then, my main option (aside from ONE actual knife store that had limited selection) was any variation of a sporting goods store which didn’t sell anything worth picking up. While in Maine, I ended up buying 4 hq knives and have been adding to my collection ever since. Just wanted to share a few pictures and possibly get some feedback on what you guys think and some possible recommendations on where to go from here. As you will see, my main brand right now is benchmade. I have been an immediate fan of them since introduced, due to the quality and variety of their knives (although it seems a lot of people have mixed feelings on them). I have 15 benchmades, a zt (the next brand I would like to start building on), a boker, and a coldsteel (LOVE their pocket assist, what a great idea). For some reason I have never really been drawn to any Spyderco knives, although i know they are quality built knives and it will only be a matter of time until one finds itself in my pocket. I’m not sure if this is the right forum to post in, or if there even is one, as I would imagine no one cares too much, but seeing all the knowledge on this site, it would be cool to get any kind of input on this fantastic, wallet crippling hobby.

That BM43 looks to be in amazing condition. You got that at a local shop? Do they have any more...? :D

I actually found that gem through letgo. A very nice lady was selling what she advertised as a 63 and when I met her to check it out and realized it was actually a 43 I picked it up on the spot. I did tell her that it was a 43 though she didn’t seem to care, just wanted to get rid of her deceased husbands stuff. Definitely one of, if not my best pick ups.

The grizzly ride has basically replaced my griptillian. The action on it is better, the grip is better (almost too grippy for taking it out of the pocket, it’s a rubbery coat but incredibly comfortable), and even the blade/steel. It has a slight recurve that I really like (although I haven’t tried sharpening) and it’s made of s30v compared to the griptillian’s 154cm but all of those things are preference. I highly recommend getting one
