WOW, thanks guys for all of the comments, suggestions and offers to buy 
This one is not going anywhere real soon, but you never know...
I currently have 3 unique designs for knives that I am planning on making. I'm just finalizing a couple of things with regards to heat treating and one more piece of equipment I want to buy. I know it's probably best to start out with one of the more simple classic designs but I have a couple of very unique ones that I'm excited about and want to just jump right in.
Wulf, I have about 6 kit knives I've never bothered working with - I seems to get more enjoyment from customizing an existing piece probably due to the better materials. I'm sure I'll do them eventually though.
