Whale bone handled Grohmann

This is my Grohmann Large Skinner with a Whale bone handle. i was woundering if any one else has a knife with a whale bone handle?


 
That is very nice indeed... a Grohmann AND whale bone.

I have never seen any whale bone scales on knives before...

It looks great, smooth but strong.

well done, congratulations on a very cool knife.

They should offer this as part of the range.

I have tried to import Grohmann knives, but it is just too damned expensive, what with getting a license and customs problems etc.
 
That is very cool, did you put on the handle, or was it made that way? IF you purchased it, who did you go through?
 
My father brought this knife home to me when I was around 12 to 15, so it was at least 10 years ago. He bought it from Michael Babinec the owner of the company. My father and Michael use to hunt at the same camp together. Michael and would always bring some knives to sell. My father doesn’t remember what he paid for the knife but he said he got a really good deal on it. The knife came just the way you see it now.
