Whale tooth ?

Thats interesting, there is some real history on the east coast we just dont see from way over here. I wonder if he sells your knives at his store and if his made made ivory looks good?
The Dude is also a part owner in a galley in Hawaii and also sells them on Martha's Vineyard. I was only getting $350 for them, but he supplies the teeth. I got a call from a person who bought one in Hawaii, for the care and maintenance of the knife. I ask him if he wouldn't mind tell me what he payed for it???? When he told me $1200, I crapped my pants.:jerkit::eek::eek:

This is one of the reasons I haven't made one for him going on 2 years. He said he would take 3 knives a month from me.:jerkit::jerkit: I may do a couple a month since I got the time now.

I think $1200 is about right for a well done knife like yours. You may need to adjust your wholesale price but its nice that he supplies the tooth. Maybe you could be paid in airfare and hotel costs and hand deliver the next batch :D

Those are some nice looking knives fellas and since we're showing our teeth :D here is a little purse knife i made for my daughter a while ago the sheath is bark walrus ivory. And some that i have in my secret drawer.
