Wharncliffe blade- likes.. dislikes?

I've always got a Wharncliffe bladed slippy in my pocket. This is my newest wharnie addition.

Bastid, that Kawamura black lip pearl 2-blade absolutely slays me! What is that knife worth?

I love the Warncliffe (and Sheepsfoot for that matter) shape. Not only is it good looking IMO it is also very functional for my daily task.

Props to Bastid for all the photos ! Those are some lovely knives bro....

I love Wharncliff blades , they are one of the most useful blade shapes for my line of blading. :D

Unless you are skinning a possum , whats not to like ? :D

Also , I think they ( and the Sheepfoot ) have an old school appeal that doesnt scare the sheeps so much.

Ryu would probably charge 11 to 12 hundred for it. (depending upon exchange rate.)

Bastid, I know we're talkin' Wharnies here, but that secondary recurve blade on the Kawamura is about the most elegant shape I've ever seen on a slippie. What a great combo with the straight Wharncliffe!

Bastid - Awesome collection!

I've been growing fond of wharnies for a while and asked Michael Morris (from the makers sub-forum) to make one based on a sketch in which I changed the blade and added a "control" divot only, to an existing model he was making. Lemme see if I can get this to work... It's just some pics in my album.

Thanks for all the replies! I ordered the centofante 4 today.. along with a sage 2. I wasn't sure if I wanted a centofante 3 or 4 but I already have other blades like the 3 so I figured I'd try a new style. Sounds like it is a well liked blade.

I've been eyeballing Centofante's collabs'. -- Please let us know how you like it, your impressions.

I recently picked up a BM 425. It has quickly moved into the spot as my EDC.

Love the design and it cuts great.
