Due to some miserable shoulder injuries, I have been absent for awhile. Recently I got back into modding some Becker knives again to ease back into learning about knifemaking and keep from going stir crazy. I have been looking at Wharncliffe style knives thanks to Greebe, a Becker forum member. I modified a BK16 and designed these two knives. My nephew gave me some scrap .125" 420 stainless. I know this is not good steel to make a knife. This was an exercise to test my grinding ability and move forward. The drawings say O1 steel, but I will be using .156" 1084. Forum member Daizee has been kind enough to his knowledge as other professional men in this forum. I thank all who have helped me before my injury and also those since. For now, the older designs will be on hold.
