What’s Similar to a ZT0808?

I’ve recently had an uptake on travelling and I’m not wanting to carry along my ZT0808 in checked luggage.

Is there anything similar in terms of size, weight, blade shape at a budget price (figure less than $75, and definitely under $100).

Ideally, I’d like something with a flipper as the starting point. The Leek might be the closest, but looking for more input before making a choice.

I took a quick low-quality snapshot of the two together. I like the Carajas better than the 808, FWIW:

Consider the Kershaw Link. Great price and very good knife for the money. Only slightly bigger than the 808!

How about the kershaw amplitude? It's the budget version of the 0808 and if you lose it you aren't out much at all.

Some very nice suggestions...I'm going to try that 0808 one of these days.

Kershaw nura 3 0r 3.5 length and rides on the bearings. its a flipper but not speedsafe.

As someone who once considered a Carajas just for cheap bearings, and desperately wants an 0808... why?

So, I love the way the 0808 looks, and I love the blade shape, but I just don't end up carrying it much. It's only 4.4 ounces, but it's the heaviest-feeling 4.4 ounce knife I've ever held, which may sound silly but it's the most accurate way I have to describe it. Something about the density, the weight being in that small a package, just makes it feel heavier than it is.

Comparatively the Carajas is lighter, thinner, cheaper and I just like carrying it better.

For example, here is the 3.25" bladed 0808 with two knives I carry regularly, one with a 3.75" blade and the other with a 4.1" blade. The 0808 is the heaviest knife in this photo:
