What’s the possibility of Busse making anymore thin GWs?

Foo,
I think the spread might be fairly even based on the number of models, but for overall production numbers, some of those variations saw very limited production, thus leaving fewer of them than many of the other variations.

I have a lot of .14's and .17's.

I'd buy one at .14 or 12

Interesting that most of the folks on this forum like them really thick, or at least it seems that way, where other folks who usually don't buy Busse's but really like the design of that one would like them thin.

Yeah - i'm in the same boat. I think as a user, a thinner GW would be sweet. I love my Fatty for what it is -- a nice little handful of INFI -- but I can see where a slicer would be nice... oh wait, i have my Culty's. BRING ON THE RAILROAD SPIKES!!

A .14 GW is still pretty stout as far as knives in general go. Talking about actual cutting tools here, not useless safe queens.

A .125 GW would be well within 'normal' EDC blade parameters. I think that would be a pretty logical blank to produce, given that we now have one other production blank in 1/8" stock.

As far as slicing goes, you need to consider the overall primary grind angle, not just the absolute thickness. Making a blade that's half as thick, but then only half as wide, kind of defeats the purpose.

If they are making the Mini Mucks in 1/8" then they oughta go ahead and buy extra steel for a run of 1/8" Game Wardens:thumbup:;)
