What’s your favorite?

I have an old Wegner SAK and a 25+ year old Case bowie that were my Grandpa's. I don't think I could ever sell them. If the country fell into chaos and I could only grab one blade on my way out the door it would be my 18.5" WWII khukuri by HI. If I could carry only one knife for the rest of my life it might just be my Tinker. It's not my favorite, but it is probably my most versitile.

Still no change in my favorite...my Benchmade 710.
Proven lock, fills the hand and a blade big enough to handle most any task.

It would have to be a tie betwwen my Spyderco Military PE and Military CE.

I've tried carrying others, but I always go back to the Military. :D

If I could legally carry it, without a doubt I would choose my Benchmade Model 42 balisong (even though it just bit me hard). Given that I can't carry the bali, I'd be more likely to choose my Benchmade 942.

Probably I would have to carry my William Henery SO9-GS

"Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the (knives)"

If I could only keep one, it would probably be my Benchmade 921. But it might have to be my M2 AFCK just for ridiculous usefullness. Or maybe my new Al Alexander damascus wharncliffe. But probably the AFCK cause it's just so durable.

It would be a tough choice, but probably my large classic Sebbie would be it. Just because of it's overall usefulness in a wide range of circumstances and it's foolproof ruggedness, and ease of carry.

When I first read the topic, I thought this would be a hard choice. When I thought about it further, it wasn't so hard.

I have 5 Carson folders, all slightly different. My current favorite is my hawkbill, as it's a rare one, only 10 made. That may change in a week or so when I get something else really cool :D

However, the one I would keep is my Carson large stellite M16 with carbon fiber scales, ti bolsters, and satin finish blade. While some of my other knives in my collection may have more collecter appeal (like the hawkbill) this is the 1 out of the 5 that I got directly from Kit. The others were bought on the secondary market. Getting to know Kit through the forums, e-mail, chat, and in person has been a great part of what this knife means to me. It is the same amazing quality as the others, but the fact I got it directly from the man himself, whom I can gladly call a friend, makes it the easy choice in which knife to keep.

Favorite is a hard thing to detrmine, but right now it would have to be the knife I carry and use the most, and that is a Mad Dog Pack Rat.

My favorite knife? Hmmm, let me think, I would have to say my Benchmade 705 Forum Knife.

I don't carry it anymore but I have always loved my Al Mar Sidekick, or my BM AFCK/axis/d2. The Sidekick is irreplaceable to me though so that is the one.

If allowed only one folder knife it would have to be the Microtech LCC.

If one long blade it would have to be the Bagwell Hells Belle fighting bowie.

Well it would have to last a while...
and if my life didn't change much,
other than my collection being gone.
I would probably go with a folder.
So, I would go with my G.W. Hawk D.O.G.
With that kind of lock design the lock-up
will only get more secure with age and use.

My Ek Model 4 Bowie made in 1990.

It is far from the knife I use the most. It is just the one I love best.

Why the hard questions?

I'd keep my single-edge Applegate CareBear. My wife got it for me and it felt a little too comfortable in my hand and too perfectly shaped. The only thing that keeps it off of my belt as a sheath knife is that I know I would be constantly practicing arnis every time my hands are idle.
