What’s your favourite three knife set-up?

Ontario SP-6
Kershaw Black Horse II folder
Leatherman multi-pliers

(You could live in the bush for years with this trio! Lol.)

If I'm carrying everything I need for a 2-week trip (and I've done just that more than once), my favourite 3-knife setup would be one knife!

An appropriate SAK.

My last serious outdoor adventure was a trip to Africa, climbing kilimanjaro and doing a walking safari. The three blades I took for my own use were:

Spyderco SE para
Busse basic 3

Gerber multilock
my daily carry is also a three blade set up:

SAK compact

Spyderco g10 standard SE or para SE

Nealy/Boker ats34 drop point in custom kydex

on a side note, the blade carried by the massai in Africa is a large *12-14 inch blade) fairly wide with a good point and a very simple wrapped handle. This seemed to be the only blade they carried, unless they happened to be touting a spear.
hmmmm..... having lived most of my life in tanzania i found this to be confusing, in my experience the 'panga' carried by almost every 'tribesman' in tanzania is much larger 20-24' inch blade with a severely rounded tip of the blade ..... made from chiana steel.... wrapped in a goatskin/wood sheath....

Nice classic gear and good pictures Eddtibe! What’s that middle knife on the picture whit the wooden cup?
