Mine would be the crkt m16 1* leo spearpoint. Carry it almost everydays use it for everything that it legal to do.
Let´s hear about your fav´s.

Matt.

For me it's my $10 CRKT Mirage. I've beaten the cr*p out of it, and it still keeps performing like a pro. Of course I wish it had a better steel (a CRKT mention is not complete without that phrase, LOL  )

That would have to be the Kershaw Vapor2. I'll cut anything with it and it still looks good, easy to sharpen, and all for only $20...
It's my beater that keeps on beating...

Dick Atkinson custom wharncliffe or Carson custom M4 or Mike Obenauf M2... depends on what's in my pocket for the day

That would have to be my REKAT Hobbit Fang. I use it as my "front-room" knife, so it has the duty to cut just about everything that needs cutting around my house...(I wrapped the handle with "Agrip" and that made the knife ALOT more comfortable in my hand.).

My beater is either my Rekat Savant or my Buck PCKS 110, depending on what I'm doing.

Favorite 'beater' knife????

My fully serrated Spyderco Endura. This Spydie is one HELL of a workhorse that can take anything that you throw at it, chop it up with ease, and still be hungry for more!!! :D ;) :D

Benchmade Emerson CQC7. I've used and abused this knife almost every day at work since '97. I've even gutted an eight point buck with it.

Microtech LCC DA or a CRK large plain Sebenza.

Then there are the real fancy beaters. . .

Chew Spitfire Covert, Carson Model 4, Mayo TNT, DDR EDC, Duncan Whiplash, and Strider GB.

Yeah. . .I know. . .you said, "What's your favorite beater knife ?"

Just happen to have quite a few "favorites !" :D

Was the Spyderco Delica(PE) for 3 yrs, but my friend now has it(gave it to him), so it's my 4" tanto(fixed) that I bought 2 yrs ago for $30... unknown maker, and took work on the grinder to get an edge on it....

I always have a talonite or stellite blade on me but I really don't abuse em . . . my beater has to be my Strider GB . . . I am now using it for anything!

Use to be CRKT C/K 3" and now is either the Endura or the Native

Folder: large CRKT 18...also best bang for the buck I ever saw...got it for 50 $ during the SHOT...

FB - Buck Nighthawk....

My beater is a Custom 4" FB. Steel is L6 with G10 handles. Its 3/16" thick and is a drop point. Its tough as nails, has been used to pry skids apart, pry a broken sway bar off a car, pry and hold a lower control arm in place while a friend welded it. It has been through hell and its still my most trusted knife. I honestly do not think I could destroy this knife without tools. Once i put it across a hole in the ground with the tip on one side and the end of the handle on the other and jumped on it to see if it would flex at all or break and it didnt.
