It's unlikely that they will do it as the pivot sizes are different, so it's not a simple matter of just taking existing manufacturing and adapting it. However, enough people asked and the scissors showed up so....

I have and recommend a Leatherman T4. It has a pocket clip and all the tools lock.

You want good scisors in a functional multitool look at Roxon, the plier based stuff is pretty bulky but they have a knife/ scissor combo, that will leave little sak or leatherman scissors in the dust.

So I got the $21 model with just a knife and scissors. I think both are 5Cr15. That's pretty bad for blade steel but then again, this was only $21 and I got it for the scissors. Speaking of, these are big scissors! I've only had them for a few days but they work pretty well so far.

Given that the whole tool is around 5oz and within the size ballpark of lots of medium-large folders, it might work. The question is if you want to sink that amount of pocket real estate into scissors.
