What’s the first knife you bought in 2018, and when did you hit “confirm?”

The silver clip is a touch I like as well. I've been carrying it frequently since Christmas, but my buddy (who has a nice Mini Grip I gifted him) wasn't too impressed, haha.

Yeah I went ahead and put preorders on both of those at Knife Center. Had to do it.
 
I had purchased this just at the end of 2017. On the other hand it arrived on January 2nd. Maybe that counts for something.

Nothing so far yet. I'm actually going to try to avoid buying an "outside" knife in 2018. By outside, I'm going to try to trade or sell some of my existing collection to fund any new knives this year and only shop via the BF exchange. A big task I'm afraid.
 
Had no definite plans to buy, other than waiting for a Sprint or Exclusive Shaman.
Then I see the mini Crooked River. Immediate pre-order placed on Jan 2nd.
 
Kizer Vanguard Kesmec. I already blew a bundle in December but its the only knife that I wanted 2017 that I didn't get. It was 45 % off regular price so I had to do it.
 
Ordered late 2017 but shipped out today does that count?! My second otf auto, orange lightning smooth edge drop point from bladeplay, looking at a third to be Microtech Ultratech or Benchmade Phaeton decisions decisions....
 
Waiting on notification for the next run of the Lionsteel Roundhead from Collector Knives. Back during the holidays I was very tempted to just pre-order, but stayed true to just notification in case something more important comes up.

For me, it was January 1st, and I had sent along an offer to a seller on a Todd Begg Steelcraft Field Marshal in their Thor Damasteel. It was accepted, and I paid at 6:06PM EST. Started the new year off right!
 
Scored a hap 40 endura. Never even seen one for sale on here before. Very happy. Jan 26th.
