What’s the story on Demko AD 20s?

I'm a huge fan of Andrew Demko designs that he did at Cold Steel and now that he's doing his own thing the only reason I don't have one already is availablity, because a lot of other people feel the same way about his work. He's got a firm grasp of what a hard working EDC knife is and is an innovator in the industry, so it's just a matter of time before I end up picking one up.

OK. Fair enough.

I was just worried they were like the aftermarket scales in the photo below, from KnifeCenter's Twitter,
These scales just lie over the inner steel liners, instead of taking their place as the frame of the knife.

Maybe another way to determine if the scales are aftermarket or og is the pivot. Big pivot: Demko full ti; small pivot: aftermarket with liners. I say “maybe” because there are generally going to be exceptions, but this seems to be the rule.

Titanium scales over nested liners is not necessary a bad thing, it allows you to easily swap titanium for other material like micarta. That is the concept of the Neutron and it's pretty nice.
