Well, let's dream.

BK16 in some modern powdered steel. CPM 3V, M4, S35VN, etc... Not terribly picky, but any upgrade would be nice.

Uncoated, stonewashed blade.

Matte burlap micarta handles, permanently pinned on with mosaic pins. Slightly more girthy than the current factory handles.

No jimping.

BK4 with a higher grind in sweet spot and 52100. But, haven't tried a BK9 yet so this is a bit biased. Maybe a bk9 is 52100 would be up there as well.

BK7 in CPM M4 could be interesting, or AEB-l which is a bit tougher. I've been impressed with my camp knives in M4 but I'll cry pretty hard if/when it chips and I have to sharpen it out.

I am a steel geek so I’ll play.

I would buy a BK9 in CPM3V or CPM4V. Probably in M4 too. They are all tough steels with good wear resistance.

I would also by a BK15 in a wear resistant stainless steel. Something like S35VN would be great but I would be happy with CPM154, CTS XHP or Elmax too.

I would love a bk7 with an 8” or 8.5” length, in 1/4” thick 3V with a slightly more pronounced guard, or a guard on both sides instead of the thumb ramp (think Busse Team Gemini).
