What’s Your Most Wanted Out of Production Becker?

BK20 or BK29. Personally, I'm partial to the more traditional design of the "Moses Bowie", but both are fantastic designs. One (or both) of these should be in regular production. You know I'm right.

I used to lust after the Brute, then decided I did not want to pay the inflated secondary market price for it and made myself a version;) funny about the 15, wasn't liked that much back when it was in production which led to it's demise; should have bought more when KB lowered the price to $30. Gifted one to my best friend years ago and last year told him to hold on to it as it was no longer being made. As far as no longer in production, I think I got them all except a 29, but got 2 20s so that should even out, guess I'm satisfied for now. Maybe a 98 to round out the tweener fam. Oh and as it was mentioned previously, maybe a second set of the kitchen knives, they are absolutely fantastic with razor edges that are easily brought back with a hone, they have replaced most of my other kitchen knives.

I've handled a Brute or two, and will take a BK-21 over that any day of the week, and twice on Saturday.
Clearly the BK-5 is a fav of mine - I ended up with 2 and won't part with either, even though I just hide them in my cave and call them "Precious". I'm really happy the BK-10 made a successful comeback.

A LOT of expansion and then contraction happened in the Becker line since I started here. Ka-Bar took a lot of risks bring back old designs and putting out new ones. Some stuck, some didn't. I hope they felt it was worth the effort and will do more. The current lineup is quite fabulous, IMO, with the exception of the missing BK-5. There are a couple new things I'd like to see - at least one more blade on the fantastic tweener handle, for instance.

Didn't care for the 21 much. Yes, better than the brute, but not my thang.

Me too, but it'll never happen.

Yes, I'm aware it will almost assuredly never happen, but allow me my dream please.

I guess I should clarify. I don't want a Brute to use. I want one to add to my Becker collection. I have numerous Beckers, but I only use or have used a few (9, 15, Blackjack-era Reinhardt Kukri). The Brute would definitely fall into the "just to have" category. Functionality aside, it just looks cool!

Dream away...

I have one, and I agree, it's an awesome looking blade. That said, it's so so in the chopping department. The BK9 will blow it away.
