What 4 Spyderco knives should I buy ?

That's easy: the 4 Spyderco folders in my EDC rotation.
1. Military
2. Police
3. Civilian
4. Starmate

I'm with 4 s ter on this one............

Endura
Police
Military

Why would you need four more? I mean, you need an ATR, a Li'l Temperance of either blade type, a Dodo, and a Spyderhawk, but, after that, why would you need eight more? Sure, you need either a Native or Native III, a Gunting, a Moran FB02, a Temperance, a Ronin, the Military, a 93mm Rescue, and a Salsa (I prefer the AUS-8/Aluminum over the ATS-34/Titanium), but why the other 23? Really, after you get...

:D

I thought it was a liner lock on it . Whats the difference ?

It's on the top of the blade instead of the bottom and is less likely to accidentally disengage.

For one of the four, I'd wait for the Spyderfly. That way you can have the first Spyderco with two handles. Pics will be up on the Balisong Forum on Halloween Day and the knife should be available early next year.

1. Military S30V
2. Starmate (If you can find one)
3. Police in Carbon Fiber
4. Chinook

In order of size:

Military
Native
Wegner Jr
Kiwi

A knife for every occasion.

It's personal, but my favorites are the StarMate, by a country mile, the Li'l Temperance, the Salsa, and the Chinook. With these four, you would have all of your needs met, not that that would stop you from buying Spydies. That is an addiction!:)

Sebenza ain't a Spyderco and, besides, I would rate my StarMate a functionally equal knife to any Sebenza that I have ever seen. I may be in a minority, but I tend to see Sebenzas and other CRK products as overpriced toys for the wealthy, in much the same light as I see BMWs and Rolex wristwatches.

Easy there FullerH. The Sebenza isn't a Spyderco....Really!??!. I was just trying to be funny and struck a nerve by mistake. Ooops. Sorry.

:D I guess I should have written "JUST KIDDING!!" after my post. BTW I don't own and Sebenza, never have seen one except on the internet. I have seen BMWs and Rolex watches though. Don't really want either, but I must say I'd like to at least see a Sebenza.

I am sorry, Akwacko, but I don't like Chris Reeves' price fixing policies andhave said so before. He will not sell to anyone who discounts his products, or that has been his policy in the past, and it maintains the prices on them at an artificial level that I will not support.
