What a change in weather !!!!

The weather has gone from hot and sunny to torrential rain !!! Luckily I managed to get out this morning while it was only wet and yucky !!!!!

I like this area cos it's kinda different to my normal terrain !

Lots of long wet grass...the dogs loved it !!!!

Better breath in going through this part !

What the hell kinda scat is this ?

Notice all the rabbit scat around it ?

Leaving the scat behind we headed toward the beach....

Here is an interesting plant for ya....Gum Weed ( Grindelia integrifolia )..
it's yellow flowers have bracts covered in gummy latex and was used to treat asthma,bronchitis and whooping cough !

Finally reached the beach.....

There must have been a dozen of these little guys under every rock I picked up....Snicker liked to crunch them up !!!!

Tried a bit of that unsupported chopping that BRKT frown upon, the Koyote's edge remained perfect !

That seems like a great user, the koyote. The gunny and the "unsupported chopping" incedent was the final nail in the coffin for BRKT to me. Why get their expenisve knives when I can get nicer, better customs for the same price or cheaper?

Around here, thee weather has gone from torrential rain to sunny and hot.

I think that 'poop' may actually be something that somebody puked up. If so, I'm going with some kind of canine (fox, coyote, domestic dog).

Nice change though isn't it? I think we're catching the edge of your system, cloudy with just a few sprinkles. Last week we had 100+ temps. Vancouver Washington broke their all time record high two days in a row.
