Well it finally got here Josh Smith delivered my press today and Wade colter came over and we had a little impromptu forgeing session and they gave me some damascus pointers...Entirely too much information put out but i did learn allot them two guys are just unbelievable for the shareing they have done with this newbie. anyone who get the chance needs to come up to the big sky hammerin and spend some time with these guys and the other MS's that will be there. can you tell who was doing all the work?

Cool!!! I have an identical press still in the crates...lol (no place to set it up yet) Unfortunately mine was delivered by a trucking company and my two Master Smiths got lost on the way:D
 
Congrats on the new press how do can I find out more info about the press?

well it is obvious that the fat guy on the end don't do much work. I hope that Wade has enough time to keep coming over and workin the press so it don't rust.

You know, I really liked the damascus you had with you at blade - what was that one pattern, the droppy-eyed hangover thing? It was awesome. Anyway, can't wait to see what you bring to Atlanta next year! Looks like you've got a dandy new tool and some fine instructors there.
