I've just gotta give a plug to a great dealer I've discovered.
I found him here at BFC (of course!) and you all know him as Mpayne.
I emailed Mike for a price on a Halo III and had a response back in half an hour. Okay, I know that's largely luck, but after telling him I liked the price and wanted one, he emailed back with a phone number. I called and the deal was done.
Total elapsed time from reading his post to placing the order? Maybe 1 hour.
He shipped the next day by the cheapest means, having determined that I wouldn't gain anything by going 2nd day air and thereby saving me a few bucks. (Yeah, I'm the impatient type!)
The knife arrived and in the box was a very unique "little something extra" that got a laugh and a smile out of me. (No, I'm not tellin what it is, you wanna know that bad buy a knife from the guy!

Anyway, Great and friendly service, I recommend him HIGHLY.
Five stars out of five.
He even offered me an excuse for my wife for an extra 20 bucks, but I THINK he was bluffing!

I cut it, and I cut it, and it's STILL too short!

I second the motion

Mike Payne is a super guy to deal with. I just ordered an Emerson CQC-7 and Emerson Lagrife combo package from him for an awesome price.

His service is first rate as well. He even e-mailed to make sure my order arrived safely since I am currently in Kosovo.

I definitely recommend Knives and Things, prices and service cant be beat. Not to mention the free items that came with my order.

Arguing with a GRUNT is like wrestling with a pig. Everyone gets dirty and the little pig loves it.

Dealer praise and dealer criticism and dealer inquiries are what the "Good, Bad, and Ugly" forum is for.

To get there, click on Exchange on the left end of that menu up there under the banner ad, and then scroll down to the bottom of the forums list you find there.

Now I'll try moving it. If that @#$%^&* software bug us still with us, you'll find a locked thread here with a redirect note (normal) and a "nobody home" error message when you click on it over there, so you'll have to restart it if you want it to continue. To do that without retyping the message, just come back here, click on the "edit" icon on top of the message, highlight and copy the text, and then paste it into a new message over in Good, Bad, and Ugly.

Good luck. Here goes . . . .
