What a steal.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA I shouldnt laugh since its not polite but the auction details are just hilarious.

Jees, it's for only 54 knives. The set that they advertise on QVC comes with 105 knives, the guy must be keeping all the good ones.:D

Hahaha!

You don't have to bid though, you can Buy It Now. You'd be crazy not to. :D

I continue to be amazed at these guys who jump on Ebay with one of those Home Shopping Network's $199 dollar specials for a thousand bucks (or more).... Like their the only guys in the country with a TV.

Watch out for that sword, oilman... I hear they break!

Sorry friend but I'm thinkin you're looking at 420J. Unless there's something worse. Copper with silver paint maybe? But at least they all come with Sheeths.

95% OF THESE ITEMS HAVE A MULTI-COLORED WOOD HANDLE. THIS WAS THE BASIS OF MY COLLECTION.

Wow. That is probably the oddest reason to collect knives - for the handles. Not because they look cool, not because they cut well, but because the handles are made of a cheap rainbow wood.

I doubt any of those knives have 440C, a very good steel. I doubt it's even 420J. I doubt the steel even has a name. So what sort of steel is used to make those Pakistani POS knives? Ever wonder what happens to the aluminum cans after you take them to the recycling center?

Does any of these knives worth over 10$ new?

They all are FANTASY knives. Made of stainless steel.

My point of view: You can't sharpen them, you use it, you break it.

There are a lot of people out there that don't research knives and buy them because they look cool and never intend to use any of them. Those knives serve that purpose well. Obviously they aren't for us. That price is a bit steep, however.
