Of course my week is not as bad as some of our forum members recently, but I am typing this from the minivan on the way to my great grandmother's funeral. She was 93, I think she lived a full life. It has been 20 years since I have seen her or any of my relatives in that neck of the woods.
On the less serious side of things, I got a box in the mail yesterday from my dad and brother in law. it "HAD" a pair of 1.5" aluminum quench plates in it, and a half dozen industrial D2 slicer blades that had been cutting onions for the past two years. They go dull, they get replaced. They were dull, and on the way to my place. NOT SO MUCH. those suckers punched out the side of the box and all the USPS delivered was an empty box. Way to go above and beyond with that delivery. Now I need to figure out what to do to get another pair of quench plates. Ugh.
