What about a marlin spike on a SALT?

This came up here on the Spyderco sub forum too. We can only hope. Fixed blade Spydies are coming, maybe the Holy Grail of Salts will too. It'll have to be on an Atlantic Salt though :).
 
anybody like the myerchin knives...? can't decide to et one any try it out ...too gimicky?

I have wanted a MYERCHIN knife for some time. They do have good knives designed for Maritime use. They even have a couple of models with map reading lights which are nice.

The answer is YES. I have started threads over the Spyderco.com inquiring about the possibility of a Spyder with a MARLINSPIKE.

Several years ago there were actually plans drawn up for a Spyderco model called the "Yachtsman" which was a Marlinspiked model. It is listed in the Spyderco STory Book on page 156.

With all the H-1 Salt series and all of the Hawkbills and so forth they have made for Marine environments it really baffles me as to why they don't come out with a MarlinSpike model :confused:
