I kinda like the looks of the Toad, but am unfamiliar with the maker and the lock. I'm also curious about his D.O.G lock folders.

Does anyone have any info on these?

and some of the tightest fit and finish in the business. They (Grant and Gavin) have been professionally making knives for over 10 years. During that time, they have created 3 fairly technical and unique folding knife designs. There is nothing else like the T-oggle O-perated A-nti D-rag on the market, and it is my personal favorite of their offerings.

Top quality work, and sheer genius with regards to mechanics. You cannot go wrong, prices are currently quite stable, and not likely to drop, or do you think that I am wrong, Joss? :D

These are opinions, and they are weighted by my personal feelings about the Hawks.

Best Regards,

The one time I used one, it pinched my palm, so I'm probably not the right person to ask. They sure are cool looking.

This thread is like a fine wine... its been aging. :D

I have the T.O.A.D. folder and I couldn't be happier with it. IT has the gadget factor in spades....

...only to be upstaged by it's little brother the E.T. ! One is heading my way soon.

Hi Gavin. Welcome here to BladeForums. Thank you for dredging this up!

Same here - T.O.A.D. on board and E.T. incoming.

Amongst other things, one particular characteristic really stands out - these are the only noiseless folders in the market, period. They open and close silently, so if you are salivating for a "thunk" ala the Sebneza, you will be disappointed.

I REALLY want to handle a Toad or ET. I wish we could get a passaround started on one of those. Maybe a passaround raffle? 10 folks @ $60 or so dollars a piece, a week with the knife and a 1 in 10 chance of winning :D

Expensive game but HUGE reward

Love my T.O.A.D. Figured out how to open and close it one handed pretty quickly. Very well made. I can only imagine the amount of machine time needed to make up all the parts.

Played with the ET Proto at Bladeart's table at the last NYCKS. It's on my list of knives to get.
