Jeez, you walk 3 miles to work every night along trails at 2am? Whew... That'd be quite the journey to do here in Seattle. Be careful out there man!

Thank you. It’s usually at 7 am so it’s just us bike / walk commuters but the night is real different. I don’t work a lot of nights anymore but had a water main to cut in so after / before hours it is.
 
Malkoff md3 with m91bw drop in, probably my favorite light after the surefire c2. 3000k warm tint and 950 lumens on high and 20 something lumen low activated by loosening the head just a hair. Paired with the excellent spartan blades phrike that I always carry.
