Happy Birthday. That one looks like an excellent choice. 1/8 in A2 would be a top choice.Alright, I found one. It will match the other OD bolstered knives I've purchased in the last couple of months. 1/8 A2. SFT. I love the trinity pinout.
It was my birthday yesterday, so this is a beautiful present for myself!

Here are some more pics to hold you over until you get your Toby! I agree with joarthur, eihgth A2 is a top choice. That's what I got too.
Gus,
It's interesting to see the Toboggan alongside an F2. The handles look quite similar. Do they feel alike?

Yes joarther, I also noticed the Tobogan and F2 handles were similar, they feel a little different probably due to the swayback, I can do a better evaluation when I get home.
Thanks Gus, I'm liking all that bog oak! I just about bought that bolstered bushfinger myself, kicking myself now lol. It's 1/8 tapered isn't it?

Thanks, I ask because I need a knife that will be good for doing detail things like trimming fat meat, like lamb for curry dishes. How do you think the F2 would be for that?
the only thing i use my F2 for is trimming chicken & other meat
Thanks Phillip, looks l need to think more about an F2.
