Hey Bob,

What's the word on tip-down Carnivours?I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Thanks,

Jeeze, I thought after the poll, REKAT decided to go with tip-up. That's part of the reason I ordered a Crawford Carnivour.

Something changed?

Hey Sing,

They did go with tip-up but you can
order one from REKAT with tip-down.
The only thing is that you pay the
REKAT price ($160-180?)because it is special ordered.Hey,it's worth
the extra cash to get a awesome knife just the way I like to carry it.If it ain't tip-down I put it back down.

sing,

I just converted an old ball-detent REKAT Pioneer for LEFT-HANDED carry: unfortunately the sacrifice is that the knife is now TIP UP

. I ended up using a Benchmade clip (only extra clip I had laying around) and some 1/4" lon 2-56 hex cap screws. I was debating about using the stock clip, but I opted for low key to match my dark blue chinos or blue jeans. I am saving the REKAT clip for another project: who knows?, I may drill a couple of other holes and mount the stock one back on.

If you need one converted to what-ever give me a call. You were nice enough to give me one of your coveted Spyderco ceramic stones that you purchased from the blade show
