Hey All,
This is a photo of my Pile of Folding knives. Each has had it's turn in the pocket. I have tried to create a wide spectrum of styles but I do not have a Custom Handmade Folder. So what I am asking is some input from you folks regarding "What I Am Missing?" I will have between 5 & 6 100 dollar bills to invest when I return from Deer Hunting. Can't wait to read your replies... Thanks!!! ~baba~

Spyderco Manix. Gotta have one!

BTW, What knife is that in the top row (of the case), two over.

Looks like the major production knife companies are represented there. If you have 5 or 6 bills, might as well get a nice Sebenza.

No Chinook, D'Allera drop point, Mini manix, Manix, Al Mar Sere 2000, Ontario XM-2 (or 1), or BM 551 Grip to name a few of my favorites that aren't represented there.

I agree that a Sebenza would be a good addition. Although, from what people have told me, it might change the way you look at everything else.

Looks like a good collection.

Sounds like your heading custom, so D. Ralph, C. Reeves, Hinderer, etc. should be considered (amongst many others).

I recommend finding a knife that has the best attributes (as many as possible, anyway) you've found while handling all those in your collection.

A D.Ralpf Would be an awesome addition! I am looking for something that is Different but useful! I hope I don't need more$$$ for that but it's not impossible. Something obscure... ~baba~

P/S those who veiwed the photo, The little Stag in the middle is a Browning 303 and it started it all around 1983. When we hash out the folder issue, I will do the same for my pile of Fixed Blade which is close to my folders in Quanity and range (Stock Brand Names) But quality. My friends tell me that the Bradley Alias is a custom but I disagree. ~baba~

I would agree about adding a Sebenza. The Bradley Alias is NOT a custom, you are right.

The snap fire is beautiful folder from CRKT but the Original Van Hoy's Make em look like junk to me. The CRKT came sharp stayed sharp and when needed took an outstanding edge (AUS-8) But I have an issue with it poping open in my pocket. Poeple love to play with it. Just like my Kershaw ET. Since I took the photo I have remembered at least 5 knives I have in drawers or in my truck or my motorcycle. It's KRAZEEEE!!!!

SOG, Emerson, and boker are missing but its a very nice collection. By the way, how is the Cold Steel AK47? I've been considering buying one for my brother but haven't heard much about it.

The AK47 is a BIG Folder! I am a Huge man and it's a BIG folder to me. But what a Tool!!! It is sharp and strong and Big & COOL all for around $60.00. I got mine on eBay.

Ya need a classic

I don't see a Benchmade AXIS lock in the pic. :D

BM 520
BM 710
BM 943

Anyone of which would make a fine addition to your collection.

A Sebenza would also be a great knife to pic up, it is the premier high end production/semi-custom folding knife out today.

You need to get a Manix. Since you have the money however, I would get the Sebenza. Get both if you can.
