In stock: 11/12/06 The latest and greatest! This new Dalton designed and built (in Kentucky USA) coil fired auto has a unique all sold G10 handle construction with satin BB finished stainless steel bolsters. The G10 handle tests at 50,000 PSI - it's super strong stuff and it just a little lighter than the T6 alloy he uses on most knives. However the grip you get on this G10 material that has made it very popular on folders is far superior to anything you could patter or checker into an alloy handle. This would also reduce the knife's magnetic signature while at the same time making it 100% non conductive (as long as you were not holding it up at the steel bolster you are totally insulated by the G10 away from the blade.)

The button on this one is nice and small - dropped into a little tear drop pit on the the bolster and it sits flush. So you really get your thumb in there and know right what you're doing to get this one activated. This model features a double ground drop point blade and is marked DALTON COMBAT on the blade's reverse. Delivered as shown!

You need a Kershaw ZDP Leek. 99% of us have had no problems with the knife, and you will become addicted to the knife. I have 10 of the Leeks! Somebody stop me!!!

I see you have the Spec bump. Try the Cyclone, or the regular Ti Bump from Kershaw if you like larger folders!

The Manix and the Sebenza (any large one) is a must in any collection. I also would suggest an auto if knife laws allows it in your neck of the woods.

BTW, where can I get a knive collection case like that.

I agree about the Benchmade Axis locks. 710 (Big knife) 730 (discontinued, but available) 74X series, and you could also use a few more Titanium frame locks, like the Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5, or Dominator, or the BM Skirmish.

Fixed blades??? I'm not too interested in those, either, although I have a few on short list, esp. a Dozier, and an A.G. Russell Loveless-style Drop point with Mammoth bark ivory.

Microtech and Protech should be looked into, if you are able to get that sort of thing where you live. Everyone needs at least one Auto in their collection.

Customs are a good idea, if you are ready for the next step. Ralph, Hinderer, DMKnives, just to name a few on my list.

A balisong? Get a Benchmade 42. Fun to play with, and great quality.

William Henry and Chris Reeve are noticeably absent. Fix that, as well.:D

I don't see anything for chopping with. Like a camp folder. $500-600 eh? Sounds like a Strider RC fits the bill. Just got one, and between it and a slimmer, pointier folder, I have all my EDC needs covered.

If autos arent a problem I would go with a microtech mini socom elite, I love those, all my other knives have taken up a place in the display case and i rotate my carry between a blue handled mini socom elite and tan handled one.

Handmade custom folder with 5-6 bills? I'd go for:

RJ Martin Devastator
Mike Obenauf Model 2 (any of his are good, but the M2 is just dreamy)
Charles Marlowe folder (IF you can find one)
Jones Brothers Responder

Or, if you're dead set on getting a Sebenza (though I'd suggest a Buck/Mayo 172 over that, but thats just my preference- and YES I've had sebenzas- 3 actually); I'd get a used small sebenza and a Rick Hinderer XM-18. Or, get the Buck/Mayo 172 AND a Hinderer XM-18. It'll still fit into your budget, and you get 2 knives for the price. By the by, the Sebenza isn't a custom either.

I'd go with a Strider for production or Darrel Ralph if you can squeeze his into your budget. It's gonna be close with his, but the quality and detail are amazing.

I dont see a balisong, maybe a benchmade or a Spyderfly(since you seem to be a Spyderco fan) they are a must have in my opinion, they are fun to play with, I also see no emerson.

BUT, I have question, on the Board very bottom right, what is that knife and how much $$ i like it a lot.

I can agree with spyderjon on the Buck/Mayo 172 and also on the Sebenza. Mine sits in a drawer while I carry my Bradley Alis as it fit my hand better. How do you like your Bradley ? and is the large or small?
