What are for you, the folding knives which will become legendary ?

I think that if one knife has proven its sticking power above all others its the SAK in all its forms.

The leatherman is forging a similar reputation for itself now.

One knife that you dont hear much about but that I notice is still around in the Kershaw Folding Field knife with the brass bolsters. Heavyweight. My dad has had one of these for 20 yrs now and its still tight, and theyre still selling them. The strength and quality are impressive and I hope it will be around for yrs to come.

I’m agree, it is very difficult distinguish between the knife you like (because of the design or materials…) and the knife you think will become a “standard” of cutlery market. But there are some knives which are choose unanimously…

Any other idea ?
;)

I'm gonna have to lean towards the Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5. A blade that is new and unique in it's design, size, weight and price. I think you're gonna see alot of simliar copies of this in the future.

I think among the average human (Wal-Mart selection) crowd the CRKT KISS will be in people's minds for a while. I had one for a while and it was a good knife considering it's only half a knife.

But for the Real deal... I can't imagine anyone who knows knives would leave the all mighty Sebenza out of his/her list. That is... if they've ever handled one.
