of finding a spyderco citadel auto at this weekends gun show? are there that many of them out there? or was it a more limited release?

I think that depends on whether you can find a dealer that doesn't want to be a dealer anymore. Unless you are active duty Military or Law Enforcement, the dealers and distributors have agreed not to sell Spyderco automatics to you, even if they are legal for anyone to own and carry where you are. Stupid Federal regulations.

ah ok i did not know this. hmm good and bad. maybe ill "save" some money this trip. thanks guys.

There are still some on that auction site every once in a while though. The sellers do not list the knife as automatic so they can fly under the radar, I'm suprised that no one noticed.

I have been to some of my local gunshows & haven't seen any yet.
Good luck, hope you find one.

i shopped around looking at al mar sere, spydy captain, rekat pioneer, and even a few eki's. i ended up with a mini manix and this mother is bad. built like a damn tank. this thing is gonna be my new edc i can see it already.

the captain was really nice too but the liner lock was just a little too close to the edge. im sure it was fine but al mar's are the only liner locks ill buy. plus after a little thought i want a blade with belly and a point for my personal uses.

thanks for yalls suggestions. luckily my best boy is a ranger so maybe ill come across a citadel in the future.

I haven't checked all those auctions, but I know a couple of the sellers were requiring proof that the buyers were active duty military or LEOs, just as their agreement with Spyderco says.
