Hey everyone. I've been out of the game for a few years and I'd like to purchase a folder in M4 steel. I had a Contego and loved it (lost it), and I'm just wondering what my options are today. I assume some knives have come out since last I bought one.

Thanks for any advice!

Hmm,

Pm2 m4
Gayle Bradley m4
Manix m4
Griptilian m4

Is all I can think of... Other than the contego.

You wanting tactical like the contego?

Spyderco have several and Benchmade has a few. Zt makes (or made?) a 0770cf in M4 also, but it's speedsafe.

You can also do the barrage, mini crooked river and full size crooked river if you customize them on benchmade's website

In addition to above.

ZT 0770CFM4
Spyderco Mantra (probably only secondary market)
Spyderco Military (secondary market only)
Spyderco Para3 (secondary market only)

GB2 and Griptilian (custom shop) are available new.

I wholeheartedly 2nd Shawns post above. Had KSF look it over before shipping and
am very happy with it. My 1st knife in m4. Im thinking about getting the "custom" barrage
in m4 next.

I don’t think they offer the CR and MCR in M4. 20CV, D2 and S30V i believe. Barrage is available and a great knife.

Many Moon's ago we used to chat over on the " Sheaths and Such " forum .
I'm still here occasionally , but to add to the advice already given ..........

Get a GB1.... or 2 Spyderco .
Best value for money and under appreciated quality that I have ever seen .

Ken

Can't recommend the mantra, one of the few knives I sent back. The M4 PM2 is great though!

Hey man, great to see you're back!
I second the thought of checking out one of the gayle bradley offerings.
