Hest is 3.15" blade. Good choice, solid knife, terrific wave opening with cap lifter. Love my T3.
I love mine and I paid more for the limited T3 model. I find it to be a tough customer that will handle anything thrown its way. I also like the niolox steel as well. Takes a good edge n holds it. Also a fan of their serrations. Easy to sharpen, n work really well. Being able to wave open is a big plus n it's just plain cool. I edc it frequently n it's has been so since I acquired it.
Try one. If you don't like it sell it.
You could always check out a small fixed blade. The Hest fixed is same blade length. Also have a look at Evans knife and tool companion model. Looks great with some nice options. He's over on the knifemakers forum, fixed blades section. Lot of cool stuff there as well
