To repeat myself : Cold Steel Tai Pan daggers have a nice broad blade , that works good for slicing / slashing cuts . One of the best practical fighting daggers available .Agreed, and that's something I've been looking at. Obviously hair-popping, small EDC knife, razor-sharp is out of the equation. But I still think it should at least be able to cut paper even if it doesn't do so very well.
Don't forget the exceptionally comfortable kraton handle with bone crushing pommel at the end!!!!To repeat myself : Cold Steel Tai Pan daggers have a nice broad blade , that works good for slicing / slashing cuts . One of the best practical fighting daggers available .

It will come plenty sharp ! The San Mai are hollow grind , but I'm not sure about the 3V model . Either will definitely slice / slash better than most daggers . These are true fighting/ martial knives rather than wall hangers .Did yours come decently sharp? Can't really tell from the pics---is it a hollow or flat grind from the spine?
I had all 3 and in my opinion RMJ raider is the best(easiest to carry and is actually sharp out of box). That's a nice pair!
So far I'd say the three that interest me the most are the Spartan George V-14, RMJ Tactical Raider, and Fox Bellum Daga.
