What are some of the good cheap import knives and where can you get them?

I'm interested in trying some of the cheap import knives I see people mention sometimes. I've heard of Sanrenmu which is a copy of the Sebenza iirc, I'm wondering what, if any, others are worth trying and where people get them from. Thanks.

Well, I would recommend some Chinese Kershaw knives. I found a bunch at my local knife store and they're decent for the price, about $20-$30 each. Most are 8cr13MOV, and I found a few with g-10 handles

Thanks guys, for the record Kunai I meant the off brand Chinese ones, I have tried many import knives from kershaw/spyderco and some other big companies.

The SRM710 would be the Sebenza clone that you're talking about. Also, we're not allowed to talk about where to get them (BF doesn't allow us to mention dealers that aren't sponsors) so you're gonna have to do the research yourself, but there is a board for British enthusiasts of blades that can point you in the right direction if you ask.

SrJoben is GREAT! Not sure if we're aloud to mention his site, so look him up on Google or YouTube. You won't regret dealing with him. That's where I get mine. USA based and great service.

Thanks again guys, I was looking at some of the designs, some are blatant ripoffs so I would feel kind of guilty about ordering one, at the same time for $8/9 its gunna be a pure beater so its kind of a fitting job for a knock off :P

To be honest upon further looking I think I'll stick with reputable brands, none of these really seem worth it, even at the sub $10 price point.

just be careful with the "clones"... from my experience they are either poorly heat treated, or completely un-heat treated

I buy a cheap knife now and then, usually to remind myself why I shouldn't buy cheap knives.
But occasionally I get a pleasant surprise, like the Inron MY803 which is well built, sturdy, sharp, high hollow ground, and good (for the price) blade steel.

I don't know if I can mention the store, could be deal spotting which is not allowed. I also seem to be unable to send a private forum message.

I like the $13 Sanrenmu 763 with axis lock myself.

$13 for a knife with an axis lock? that's insane. looks like the axis lock is not an expensive mechanism.:p

No it isn't. Just two cut outs in the liners/handle, a bar and two springs.

Here is a picture I just found from the knife I was referring to. Available with aluminium handles as well.
